Creating a Surface

Creating a surface is a simple three step process.

 

Step 1 - Create COGO Points

The surface is made up of ground shots that you have calculated manually or have imported from an ASCII file or data collector.

Step 2 - Create the Surface

Start the command. The first prompt is to select the points to include in the surface, then provide a name and description for it.

Step 3 - Resolve issues (if any)

The surface is then checked for any issues, and then the triangulated! You are now ready to create a border, add any breaklines (if needed) and configure contours.
