Create surfaces and automatically generate contours from X, Y, Z coordinates.
Each surface is a separate TIN model created from a set of X,Y,Z COGO points. You can have multiple surfaces in a drawing and even share COGO points among separate surfaces. ProCogo XL can triangulate 50,000 points in about 10 seconds.
Volume Calculations Calculate the volume of a borrow pit or spoil pile. First create a surface of the original natural ground, then create a second surface of the finished ground. The volume difference between the two surfaces is then calculated using prismoidal methods.
