Data Collection

Use your data collector to locate traverse data and TOPO locations out in the field. Then use LotPlot's data collection features to bring the field data right into the drawing.

1. Collect your data out in the field.
2. Import your data collector field files* into LotPlot.
3. Review, edit, adjust the data in the Input Reduction editor and make printouts of the data as needed.
4. Now process and send the data to the drawing. COGO points, line work and TOPO symbols are automatically inserted into the drawing.

The Input Reduction editor provides you with an easy to use spreadsheet to edit your field files and raw data. Invalid entries are highlighted in red so that mistakes are easier to find. Coordinates and elevations are automatically calculated and displayed as you work.
